Types of Tile Roofing

Concrete

Concrete tiles are durable and cost-effective, offering a wide range of colors and styles to mimic traditional roofing materials while providing excellent weather resistance.

Clay

Clay tiles bring a timeless Mediterranean or Spanish style to your roof. They are highly durable, environmentally friendly, and provide superior protection against the elements.

Cedar Shake

Cedar shake tiles offer a rustic, natural appearance. While traditionally made of wood, modern cedar shake tiles provide the look of wood with enhanced longevity and fire resistance.

Slate

Slate tiles are known for their elegant appearance and incredible durability. These tiles offer a classic, luxurious look while being incredibly resistant to extreme weather and fire.

Installation Process

1. Remove Old Roof & Inspect Deck
The old roofing materials are removed to expose the roof deck. The deck is inspected for damage, and any issues are repaired before the tile installation.

2. Install Underlayment
A high-quality underlayment is installed over the roof deck to provide a moisture barrier and protect the home from leaks.

3. Attach Battens (If Required)
Battens may be installed across the roof deck to provide support and spacing for the tiles, improving water drainage and ventilation beneath the tiles.

4. Install Tiles
Tiles are laid starting from the bottom edge of the roof, working upwards in staggered rows. The tiles are fastened securely in place, ensuring proper alignment and coverage.

5. Install Flashing & Ridge Caps
Flashing is installed around roof penetrations to prevent water entry. Ridge caps are placed along the ridges and hips of the roof to provide a finished look and additional protection.

6. Final Inspection
A final inspection is conducted to ensure tiles are properly installed, flashings are secure, and the roof is ready to withstand the elements.
